Hey all, a few notes and tips as you work on your proposals over the next week or so:
- If you do not communicate with the community prior to submitting your proposal(s) – for example here in the forums, or on our project chat, your proposal will not be accepted. Come in and say hello – we’re friendly!
- If you are proposing a project that’s not on the official list of ideas at #gsoc2021-project, you will need to identify a potential mentor already active in the community willing to work together on that project. If you haven’t done this, we won’t be able to assign someone to review your proposal.
- Remember, the best bet is to work with the mentor(s) for your project before you submit your proposal. This helps increase its quality and your relationship with those mentors before the review process begins. Ask your questions about the projects here on the forums on the topic for that project! #gsoc2021-project
