Iām Yeyang, a second-year Masterās student specializing in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Zurich. I also hold a Bachelorās degree in AI and have taken courses on Medical Image Analysis from ETH.
I just finished my Master Project defense about āAnomaly Detection for MR-Only Radiotherapyā in collaboration with University Hospital Zurich. During this project, we annotated a MR-CT registered dataset across discussed anomaly categories such as metal artifacts and missing structures, and developed a full pipeline covering automatic anomaly extraction (from CT scans), slice level data preparation and preprocessing, 2D slice anomaly detection & localization, post-processing, and scan-level detection & localization. Our strongest model achieved a 90% scan-level Dice score.
Technically, I have hands-on experience with Anomalib, PatchCore, NIfTI preprocessing, and PyTorch, which I believe are directly related to this project.
The annotation was very painful for us as we were reading slices using ImageJ and Slicer, which visualizes the volumes quite well but lack annotation functions, and we have to manually split the scan lists and write down anomaly slices and category on excel sheets. Reviewing registered CT and MR slices from the same patient required constant manual adjustment. A tool like āAutomated Artifact Detection and Annotation in LibreHealth Radiologyā that is designed for annotating medical images and pre-labeling functionality would really improved our workflow.

Your proposal will not be selected. Choose one of the existing project ideas. Youāre not going to get selected by spamming random proposals for loosely related projects, you need to communicate EARLY and before you drop your proposal, not after the fact.
The successful applicants are those that have been in contact for weeks now. You just dropped your proposal and it lacks any substance, you need details ā moreso than if you chose one of our ideas, which also requires a detailed proposal.

I am Suraj Pratap Singh, a third-year B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering student. I have a strong background in healthcare tech, having recently worked as a Product Development Intern at Mediversal Healthcare. There, I was part of the core dev team building the Mediversal 24/7 appāa platform for online consultations, pharmacy, and test appointments that is now live on both the Play Store and App Store.
Alongside my full-stack experience, I am deeply passionate about AI reliability in medicine. I have been focusing heavily on building systems that can detect their own hallucinations, including developing projects like MedCAFAS (a medical confidence-aware factuality assessment system).
I have always been driven by the intersection of scalable tech and real-world utility in medicine, which is why I am really excited about LibreHealthās mission to make health IT accessible and better for all of us!
