Hi there everyone @AbhaySingh @HaleemaTallat1 @Insiyaya @g-for-gour @Simran1604 @technmad @DevanshYadav07 … Welcome to LH and happy new year. Sorry for the late reply as we all mentors are sometimes really busy.

It’s always a pleasure seeing new contributors. If you haven’t yet joined our chat where most of the discussions take place, make sure to join in here

We do have a niche of projects to which you can contribute… These can be found here LibreHealth · GitLab.

If you have any questions feel free to ask here or in our chats. Looking forward to seeing you around folks.

Best, MR.

Hi Mua, I can totally understand the reason behind late replies. Thanks for guiding.

Hi LibreHealth Community! :waving_hand:

My name is Sujal Tripathi, and I’m a 3rd-year Computer Science student from India. I came across LibreHealth through the GSoC 2026 organizations list and I’m genuinely excited about the mission of bringing open-source innovation to healthcare.

About my skills:

  • Full-stack web development using JavaScript, React.js, Node.js (MERN stack)
  • Competitive programming in Java
  • Experience with Git/GitHub workflows and open-source contributions
  • Familiar with Hackathons and building real-world applications

Why LibreHealth? I’m deeply interested in the Web Component-based Drag-and-Drop Form Designer project idea. My experience with React and JavaScript makes this a perfect fit, and I’d love to dig deeper into the codebase. What I’ve done so far:

  • Contributed to open-source projects including Nutrivigil and Talawa (Palisadoes Foundation)
  • Built full-stack MERN applications and participated in multiple hackathons
  • GitHub: SujalTripathi (Tripathi Sujal ) · GitHub I’m now exploring the GitLab repositories to find a good first issue to contribute to. Looking forward to learning from the mentors and being a productive part of this community! Thank you for the opportunity. Happy to meet everyone here! :folded_hands: Would you like me to help you find or draft a message for a specific “good first issue” on their GitLab?

I have worked on tech-stacks like Java-Spring Boot-Kafka, Mern, Go Microservices etc.

I also have keen interest in fields like DevOps, ML, Agentic AI and Data Science.

Looking forward to exploring the codebase of LibreHealth, and contributing and engaging with the community of it.

I discovered LibreHealth through the GSoC 2026 organizations list, and I’m genuinely excited about contributing to open-source healthcare solutions that create real-world impact.

:mobile_phone: About Me – Flutter & Mobile Focus

I specialize in building scalable, responsive, and secure Flutter applications with clean architecture and production-ready practices.

  • Strong experience in Flutter (Dart) for cross-platform iOS & Android apps

  • State management using Riverpod & Provider

  • Experience building offline-first applications

  • Integration of REST APIs with Node.js / FastAPI backends

  • Firebase (Firestore, Auth) & MongoDB integration

  • Secure authentication using JWT

  • Experience translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI

:rocket: Relevant Flutter Projects

  • Verifier – Built an offline-first P2P attendance system using Flutter with Wi-Fi Direct & Bluetooth mesh communication.

  • Q-Flow – Developed a real-time crowd management system with dynamic slot booking using Firebase.

  • Xplora – Designed a Flutter frontend integrated with a FastAPI AI backend delivering structured Q&A responses.

Through these projects, I’ve focused heavily on:

  • Clean UI architecture

  • Modular and reusable widget systems

  • Performance optimization

  • Secure communication between frontend and backend services

:light_bulb: Why LibreHealth?

Healthcare applications require:

  • Reliability

  • Security

  • Offline capabilities

  • Clean and intuitive UI

These are areas I’ve actively worked on in my Flutter projects, and I would love to contribute to LibreHealth’s mobile or frontend-related initiatives — especially where scalable UI systems or patient-facing applications are involved.

I’m currently exploring LibreHealth’s GitLab repositories and would appreciate guidance on selecting a Flutter-related good first issue to start contributing.

Looking forward to learning from mentors and contributing meaningfully to the community! :folded_hands:

Hi, I’m Satyam Jha, a final-year B.Tech student at IIT BHU. I’ve been building with Flutter for over 2 years now and have worked on multiple apps across different domains, along with meaningful open-source contributions. I’ve also interned at Palisadoes Foundation and CRED, which gave me exposure to writing cleaner, more maintainable code and working in structured teams.

I enjoy building practical applications, thinking through architecture decisions, and improving things until they feel solid and scalable. I’m comfortable taking ownership of features, collaborating with mentors, and continuously learning as I build.
