GSoC 2017: That's a wrap!

Google Summer of Code is now completed per the official program timeline. Today is the firm “Pencils Down” date. You should have been finished coding and have been doing extensive testing, and working on documentation past 14 August at 1600 UTC, but today at 1600 UTC is the official end of Google Summer of Code. You should have already submitted your work product submission, which means the code you are being paid for is officially completed.

You are welcome to continue work and we hope you will stick around and help us grow our community. I ask that each of the @gsoc2017students post a final wrap-up blog post as a reply to this thread. Mentors will now be submitting their final evaluations of each of you. Great work.

@r0bby is this different from the report submitted to google?

You can choose to use that or you can write a separate one…either/or. It’s totally up to you. You may also post your work product submission here as well if you choose.

Since my final report doubles as my wrap-up blog post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you all of you! The reason for this is so others can find your posts if they choose to look.

Once again we are all very proud of all of you!

Great write-ups, everyone. So impressed with your work over this summer! :trophy:

Yeah, this is pretty much a case of strong start, strong finish, or in Grandpa’s terms, “Nominal”, which is about as high on his job quality-o-meter as you went before you hit “We should have charged more”.
