[POLL] Migration of Rocket Chat to new server and when to do it

I have held off doing this until GSoC was completed to do this, as it requires downtime during the DNS changeover.

Please fill this out as soon as possible if you would like to chime in. This is one of the migrations that I’m not looking forward to as it requires significant downtime as the DNS propagation takes place.

It’s fine with me, but I am curious why it needs to be moved, seems to be working fine.

Agree with Tony, is this moving it to a different provider?

We are moving all of our services on Rackspace, which costs us nothing, off of DigitalOcean, which costs us money. We had two services, forums were moved months ago, Rocket Chat required downtime, which I required more planning.

I’m gonna plan the switch for Sunday – and pretty much not tying myself down as to an exact time. I’ll give some notice.
