My name is Afreen and I am currently a Computer Science student with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as specialization in Lovely Professional University,Punjab,India , with a strong interest in contributing to LibreHealth through Google Summer of Code.
Before entering computer science, I was a NEET aspirant and scored 498 marks. I also secured a dental seat, but my primary interest was in MBBS. Eventually, I decided to pivot my career toward computer science, where I could combine my interest in healthcare with technology.
Currently, I am an intern at Infosys , where I am working on a project titled “Abnormality Detection on Chest X-Rays using AI.” Through this project, I am exploring how artificial intelligence can assist in medical diagnosis.
My interests include Python, AI/ML, and open-source development. Because LibreHealth focuses on open-source solutions for healthcare, I would be very excited to contribute and learn from this community.
I also tried joining the discussion threads, but it is showing that the page does not exist. Could someone please guide me on how I can access the correct discussion channels or get started with contributions?
