We had previously discussed end of the month, but I would like to propose for discussion choosing Tuesday 5 July to publish the web site and offficial announcement.
The primary reason for this is any time before is a long weekend in the US, (Monday 4 July is Independence Day) and particularly one when people are paying less attention to work things. So, IMHO many people will be “tuned out” on Friday before that, and only checking their inboxes and things on Tuesday when they come back.
Planning it for the 5th would allow us to be on top of the stack when US people come back from the long Independence Day holiday weekend.
Thoughts from others?
I agree we don’t want people in the U.S to miss this announcement.
We can do a beta release for testing before that for SIIM
