Free Code Camp as a option for development

(Terry Hill) #1

Has any one used Free Code Camp? Are there any plans to use it?

(Michael Downey) #2

Just to clarify, are you referring to this site? https://www.freecodecamp.com/

I hadn’t seen it before but it looks interesting. Have you used it before? If not, are you interested in checking it out in more detail to see if it might be something worth pursuing?

(Terry Hill) #3

Yes that is the site. I have never used them for a project. From what I have seen they will do projects for not for profit’s. I do not know for sure what the requirements are and the only contact e-mail I have is team@freecodecamp.com which is support.

(Judy Gichoya) #4

Terry would you like to take lead on contacting them ?

(Robby O'Connor) #5

does the SFC have to take the lead?

(Terry Hill) #6

I am not that familiar with the inner workings of LibreHealth or the structure of the organization. I would do more harm than good I am afraid.

(Robby O'Connor) #7

@downey does the SFC wanna take the lead…can we ourselves approach them?

(Michael Downey) #8

We should evaluate whether or not they are a good fit for LibreHealth, and, if the LSC agrees, we can move forward and create whatever kind of partnership they want via SFC as legal entity.

(Robby O'Connor) #9

Definitely – I vote yes pending more information.
