(Balaji) #354

Hi Everyone, I am Balaji from India. I am currently in my pre-final year of UG in computer science course. I am working on chatbots for the last 6 months and developed an open-source Facebook Messenger bot for helping hospitals and other healthcare services to notify parents about their kid’s vaccination dates. You can find the codebase at You can find the demo video of the project at I am looking forward to contributing to LibreHealth community during summer break.

(Karina S. Garza) #355

Hello, my name is Karina and I’m currently a second year Computer Science student in Mexico. I have always wanted to contribute to an open source project but I didn’t know where to start and felt like I needed some guidance which led to me finding out about the Outreachy program. I think the documentation project would be really helpful for me because I would learn more about understanding and organizing documentation which are essential (the understanding part at least) when dealing with software projects. I’m looking forward to contributing

(mua laurent) #356

welcome @karigza thanks for Joining the community

(Art Eaton) #357

Karina! Where are all the Mexicanos??? I think you are the first to show up here! -You have classmates. Drag them over here!

Welcome aboard! We have some amazing and far-reaching projects here. Excellent choice (in my opinion). Medical applications rank at or above financial and critical utility grid systems. Naturally, documentation is therefore a critical aspect and a very good portfolio item. I can say for certain that the Spanish translations for LibreHealthEHR are in dismal shape. Documentation in Spanish is non-existent. This is a code+documentation project you could request a specification to be written on, and write up a proposal for. Naturally, we expect your proposal to be multi-lingual.
