# Google Summer of Code Midterm Evaluations Due 08 July 2026

Per the [GSoC 2026 Timeline](https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/timeline), the window to submit the Midterm contributor/mentor evaluations has opened. Sign in to your [Summer of Code Dashboard](https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/) to complete your evaluation as soon as humanly possible.

The questions can be found [here](https://developers.google.com/open-source/gsoc/help/evaluations). You have until 2026-07-10T18:00:00Z to complete this. These evaluations are optional for contributors, but mentors are required to complete evaluations. **Please have them completed no later than 2026-07-08T18:00:00Z** , which is **48 hours** before the official deadline. If you do not have them done by this time, expect gentle prodding.

**Contributors** : You are not required to complete these, but please do so, as it helps us know how your experience is going.

**Mentors** : You are required to do this, and failing to submit your evaluation affects the organization as a whole, including our future participation in Google Summer of Code, among other consequences. Please complete them. If you are unable to, have a backup, or ping @sunbiz, @judywawira, or me with what you’d like us to say, and we will do it on your behalf.
